JB makeup studio offers a variety of specialised makeup lessons, parties and group workshops that can take place in person at my studio, on your own or with friends or online. They are suitable for all ages and abilities. There is something to suit everyone for all occasion.
Personalised one-to-one makeup lesson
Learn to apply makeup that will leave you feeling radiant and confident with your makeup skills. Guided step by step by a professional makeup artist who will demonstrate techniques and support you to practice on yourself. Learning fundamental skills that you can achieve creating realistic everyday makeup. Gain an understanding of skin care and makeup products that work on your skin texture and tone. Taking a look at harmonious colours and how they can elevate your makeup. After the lesson you will leave feeling confident in being able to select makeup that suits you and that you’ll be able to recreate what you have learned afterwards and look amazing.
If you are looking to correct under eye darkness, make up hooded eyes, fill sparce brows, apply eyeliner or how to elevate your every day makeup. Or take your makeup from day to night- this lesson is for you.
You will receive a personalised face chart detailing makeup placement along with a comprehensive makeup guide for you to refer to during and after the lesson. An easy shopping list of items used, should you wish to update your makeup and skin care. This will have details of all the products and tools used during your lesson. There will be suggestions and product recommendations to update your makeup bag after the lesson. Professional before and after images are taken and sent to you after the lesson if you wish. This helps to remember product placement and a you’re overall final look.
Makeup Parties
Get together and celebrate your birthday, occasion or hen do with a makeup party at JB Makeup studio. I will give step by step demonstration on one guest of your choice. All your friends can follow along with guidance given throughout the party. Led by a professional makeup artist who will be on hand to offer hints, tips and enhance your techniques ensuring you leave party ready. Parties require a minimum of three people and the maximum of six guests this allows for personal guidance and clear communication.
Workshops
Makeup workshops are for groups of friends, family or work colleagues who would like to have a makeup led session. Working on yourself during the workshop you will receive expert tips and guidance on creating or updating your makeup look. Workshops are available in different themes including skincare, flawless foundation, all about the eyes and casualty effects makeup.
JB Studio uses a variety of makeup and skin care brands including both high end and high street. Ensuring there’s a variety of makeup and skin care for all skin types and tones. This includes both high end and high street brand such as dior, Lisa Eldridge, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown, MAC NYX, No7, Maybeline and L’Oreal. Being able to try them before deciding to purchase them can save you lots of money! The deliah range is Peta certified and cruelty free. The studio has it own makeup brush range designed by Jenny Buckland makeup artist. You may find it useful to buy the set before your lesson.
