Future gen workshop:  SFX, blood and gore for 14-17 year olds

NEXT WORKSHOP 2nd or 8th APRIL

Future gen workshops are for young creatives looking to learn introductory level special effect techniques in a safe environment, led by a qualified teacher. Participants will explore various techniques used to create casualty simulation effects. Delivered through demonstrations and hands on practice with supervision in a makeup studio.  Whilst understanding health and safety practice, materials and tools.

Level: Suitable for all levels

Duration: 10:30 to 2:30pm

Schedule includes a 30 minute lunch break and lunch is not provided. Participants are required to bring their own.

To ensure high quality of learning experience. class sizes are kept small, allowing for personalised guidance and clear communication.  As a result course availability is limited and early booking is recommended.  Courses run subject to a minimum of two attendees who have confirmed places. If the workshop does not meet this requirement you may move to the next available course of join the waiting list.  You will be contacted no later than one week before the course start date.

Where do courses take place?

All courses are held at JB Makeup Studio, Broughton Grounds business park, Milton Keynes, MK16 0HZ.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes, upon completion of the course you will receive a JB Makeup Studio certificate.

Will models be provided?

Models are not provided.  Participants may work on themselves or other attendees.

What if I need cancel?

To cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.  Full details of the cancellation policy will come with your booking confirmation.

Will I need to bring anything?

All products, tools and brushes are provided that are relevant to the course for the practical session.  It will be beneficial to take notes and use a smartphone to capture images of your creations.  We are unable to provide Lunch so please bring it with you.

Can I book multiple courses?

Certainly.  Attending multiple workshops and courses is a great way to broaden your skill set.
