Casualty Simulation & Moulage

As a casualty simulation artist. I have acquired knowledge and experience to create injuries to a high standard that are tailored to each client. Having worked on many major incident training exercises, both nationally and internationally. I have the capability of co-ordinating large numbers of casualty actors and assembling makeup teams to work on medical simulation events. These cover various mechanism of injuries. From superficial wounds to major trauma, including amputation executed with medical accuracy.

When I achieved the PTTLS teaching qualification. I began teaching casualty simulation and moulage makeup techniques. This includes delivering training to the military, emergency services, makeup artists and educational settings, such as Universities and Colleges. Training is delivered with enthusiasm and a methodical approach. This unique teaching experience combines industry experience with high standards of training methods. Providing practical demonstrations and theory from handouts to talks. Time is allocated to practice learnt skills, whilst receiving guidance and feedback throughout.

Various casualty simulation exercises I took part in, have featured in different media publications including The Guardian, Sky News, BBC News, The Royal Navy News, NRK:TV and BFBS:TV.

Clients include University of Bedfordshire, Newcastle College Group, Royal Derby Hospital, Rampton Hospital and Northampton Fire Brigade. For further details of accredited training courses or to be part of your medical training exercises please use the contact page.

Medical Student Major Training Exercise-It was a huge event and we know how much planning it took you personally. The feedback we have received about the make-up has been extremely positive. The students and staff all felt that their presence and input and the realistic nature of the injuries really helped set the scene and make it feel so life like. It really contributed to a very successful event. Without your help, our Major Incident Week wouldn’t be possible, so we are very grateful for your help in providing this invaluable learning experience for our students

Royal Derby Hospital- A really enjoyable day, tailored to our knowledge base and good discussions of how to implement techniques in to our practice. Demonstrations were given along with a course booklet that enables participants to take notes throughout with plenty of practice time.

Rampton Hospital – Really good, fabulous day and excellent course. Jenny was an excellent trainer and showed great understanding of our environmental needs. The whole day was informative and enjoyable.
